Jocelyn Farrell

Executive Director

Jocelyn Farrell is grateful to serve as LEAF’s Executive Director and has happily called Lyons home for more than 30 years. A former Town Trustee, Mayor Pro Tem, and Planning Commissioner, she also helped launch the Lyons Creative District—because building a thriving community is kind of her thing. She loves everything that makes Lyons special: stunning scenery, winding trails, the St. Vrain River, and the familiar faces you bump into on a neighborhood walk. When she’s not at LEAF, you’ll find her creating modern abstract art, catching live music, or happily floating down the St. Vrain in her bright green river duckie.

Daryl McCool

Creative Communications & Marketing Manager

Daryl tells LEAF’s stories, one newsletter, flyer, and slightly-too-many-Facebook-posts at a time. She grew up in rural Vermont, put down roots in Superior, Colorado, and has never met a piece of scrap fabric or spare button she didn’t try to turn into something useful.

She believes good communication, like good crafting, is mostly about taking what you’ve got and making it work.

Kim Hinzy, LCSW

Community Programs & Client Services Manager

At LEAF, I love connecting people, ideas, and resources, and like the rest of our team, occasionally wearing whatever other hat the day calls for. I’m a Midwestern flatlander turned mountain lover who is happiest wandering and observing nature, even if it’s just from my deck. I’m also an enthusiastic creative dabbler, always making something new for as long as my brain decides the hobby is interesting. Fortunately for LEAF, building a stronger community is one project I never lose interest in.

Grace Simonsen

Operations and Volunteer Coordinator

Growing up in Lyons gave Grace a deep love for this community, and she’s grateful to spend her days giving back to the place that has always felt like home. As LEAF’s Operations and Volunteer Coordinator, she enjoys connecting neighbors, solving problems, and helping everyone who walks through the door feel welcome. When she’s not at LEAF, you’ll find her spending time with her family, chasing new adventures, or being happily outnumbered by her much-loved cats.
