Boulder County Awards $2 Million in Emergency Grants to Strengthen Food and Health Care Access
We are incredibly grateful to share that, in partnership with The OUR Center, LEAF helped secure a significant Boulder County emergency grant to strengthen food and health care access across our region. This collaboration is especially meaningful as our community faces growing challenges due to reductions in federal support like Medicaid and SNAP.
Through this partnership—and as part of a new, network-based approach to food access—LEAF will be able to expand our purchasing power and provide healthier, more consistent food options for our pantry clients here in Lyons. At a time when more families are turning to local resources for the first time, this support allows us to respond with greater care, dignity, and impact.
Just as importantly, this partnership deepens LEAF’s relationships across Boulder County, strengthening the collective safety net that our community depends on.
