LEAF is proud to announce a new partnership with Krupnick Counseling Associates (KCA) in Longmont, and it comes with no strings attached. This program is completely free to anyone in our service area, regardless of insurance, Medicare, or financial situation. No barriers. Just support.

When cost, coverage, or even the fear of running into a neighbor stops someone from getting help, real harm follows. This partnership is built to remove those barriers by offering confidential, specialized care outside of Lyons, adding an important layer of privacy that matters deeply in a small, close-knit town. It’s designed to encourage people to seek help early, before a difficult moment becomes a crisis.

LEAF will fund up to eight therapy sessions per client, covering a wide scope of care including:

  • Individuals, couples, families, children, and preteens
  • LGBTQ+ and gender-affirming therapy
  • Addiction recovery
  • Trauma and grief
  • Suicidal ideation
  • Mid-life and senior transitions

Founded in 2000, KCA is a premier, multi-specialty group practice in Longmont bringing together uniquely talented therapists with decades of experience and a genuine passion for their work.

This partnership significantly strengthens Lyons’ behavioral health safety net, and it builds on the mental health support LEAF already provides locally through Chris Peraro, MA, LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. Chris remains your first point of contact and can connect you with the right care, whether local or through KCA.
